favourite words: SWEDISH EDITION!

OK so i am very interested in languages, particuarly scandinavian & nordic; and also sweden is my favourite country, aside from england. so here's some words! and here's a little chart showing how the germanic languages derived from the proto-germanic language. is this particuarly relevent? a little bit, maybe, but regardless. I LOVE LINGUISTICS but i'm not smart enough (yet!) to explain it all. anyway, here are the words i like.

lilja (lily, the plant)

liten/lilla (small/little)

lida (to suffer)- jag har smärtor

gudomlig (divine, of or belonging to (a) god) - hon har gudomlig visdom
(OR very good or excellent)
